Snooki is the shortest of all, but by no means the weakest; despite suffering a punch in a bar fight. She is a veterinary technician from Marlboro, New York and is at the center of most of the controversy and fights on the show.
Sammi is from Hazlet, NJ, attended William Patterson University and played soccer. She develops a relationship with Ronnie. J-Woww is a graphics designer and club promoter from Franklin Square, Jersey Kings New York. She hooks up Jersey Kings with Pauly D, cheating on her boyfriend and ending her relationship early in the show. Among the boys, probably the most popular is Mike \"The Situation\", who is an associate manager of a fitness center. A center of many confrontations in the show, this well-built guy has also been an exotic dancer.
Pauly D is also among the most popular cast members and is a DJ from Johnston, Rhode Island and has a brief relationship with J-Woww. Ronnie is from the Bronx, NY and develops a relationship with Sammi, when she prefers him over Mike. Finally, Vinny is from Straten Island, NY. Probably the youngest member, he is from a traditional Italian family and wants to be an actor. Replacing Angelina, Snooki\'s friend Deena Nicole Cortese has been casted for the third season of Jersey Shore MTV reality show.
